Design & File Ownership

Who owns what — files you send us, photos of your part, and DuffMakers Shop designs.

You keep ownership of any design you send us. We use it only to produce your order — we don't sell it, share it with other customers, or claim any rights to it.

By submitting a file, you're confirming you have the legal right to have it printed (see our Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy) — that it's your own design, in the public domain, or licensed in a way that allows this kind of fabrication.

We may photograph a finished part for our own portfolio or marketing — only with your permission, and never in a way that identifies you personally unless you're fine with that too. If you'd rather we don't, just say so when you order.

Designs sold through the DuffMakers Shop are DuffAM's own original work or used under a license that permits resale. Purchasing a printed part doesn't transfer any rights to the underlying design file itself — you're buying the physical object, not a license to reproduce it.
